Compared to the tiny netbooks we have now-days they Osborne seems ridiculous until you remember that computers started out as room-sized. Compared to them it was portable. Without these inventions, we wouldn't have worked our way forward to the devices we have now. The question is, will we be laughed at in 50 years time for the size and clumsiness of what we use today?
