Wall Mounted Installation

The main benefits of wall or floor mounted air conditioners are cost savings and size. Wall mounted aircon units can be discreetly and aesthetically installed above doors or windows and generally do not require any additional building works to hide them.

Some manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi and LG, have a specific range of units that some customers find more aesthetically pleasing and are aimed at high-end residential applications. These units can be used as a “wall feature” rather than something to be hidden or blended into the background. Obviously the question of aesthetics is subjective but,(should you not mind us voicing our opinion!) we believe that there are not many ways to hide the fact that you have an air conditioning unit on the wall and that there’s little wrong with the “conventional look” but that’s just our opinion!

Wall mounted air conditioners are also ideal for restaurants, server rooms and almost anywhere else that air conditioning is required as they are the simplest systems to install. A typical installation generally takes a two engineer team just one day to install and commission. Please see our installation video which hopefully will put off any ideas you might have of DIY!

Wall mounted air conditioners are available in wide variety of cooling/heating power outputs with 2.5kW units being the smallest. These are perfect for small bedrooms or offices. The largest wall-mounts has an output of 10kW which are best suited for larger offices, server rooms and restaurants.

A full survey will be required to check your exact requirements so as to ensure that a unit/s of the correct specification are installed.

Low-wall mounted units are generally ideal for conservatories and loft conversions or anywhere that there’s restricted wall space. These units are generally the same size or smaller than traditional radiators but have the advantage of being able to cool as well as heat.
