Homeowner Holds Air Conditioning Repairman at Gunpoint

Stan Nguyen police photoTemperatures in the US are currently at sweltering levels, meaning tempers are running high too.

And being left without air conditioning is clearly a major problem.

Nowhere more so than in the house of Stan Nguyen, who the Daily Mail have reported held an air conditioning repair man up at gunpoint when an argument over a broken unit ‘got heated’.

As local temperatures rose towards 97 degrees, Nguyen refused to let the worker go until he sorted out the problem. Luckily he managed to make a bizare emergency call to cool the situation off.

Here’s the 911 call from the air con repair man, “I’m not screwing around here, the guy just pulled a gun on me.”

And here’s the 911 call from Mr. Nguyen’s son, cool as a cucumber, reporting that they don’t want to pay the bill, “he fried our AC unit and now he won’t leave the property.”

The Mail say it’s not clear if the AC unit is now working again, but one thing is certain, the homeowner faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

We like to think we’d be able to solve this problem to with one of our portable units, but we won’t be knocking on Mr Nguyen’s door any time soon!
