The ‘HiCool-i’ forms part of our brand new 2016 range of evaporative coolers. For its small size, the HiCool-i is powerful and ideal for homes, shops or areas with a good source of natural ventilation.

PLEASE NOTE: Evaporative coolers must be placed next to an open door or window in order to work effectively.

Using CellDek pads usually only found in more expensive units, the HiCool-i will help cool ventilated areas of up to 20.4m² (220 ft²).

Evaporative coolers are a cheap and environmentally friendly method of cooling. Like fans, the units will provide a cooling breeze but with the added benefit of water. You fill the unit with water or ice and the machine will blow air through the water mimicking the effect of a seabreeze.

It must be noted that evaporative coolers cannot physically lower the temperature of a room, but they can make you feel much more comfortable. They are not recommended for offices due to the moist draft they create but they are well suited for shops or domestic applications as long as there is a good source of natural ventilation. They are particularly ideal for florists because unlike an air conditioner they will not dry out the air.
